For Families in Transition

Finding a collaborative approach to parenting

Collaborative Co-Parenting

Whether you are at the beginning of the separation/divorce process, or have be divorced for years, enhancing your parenting partnership can have a tremendous positive impact on your kids and your whole family.
Because co-parenting comes with its own specific sets of challenges, I've designed an approach to address the obstacles that can get in the way of effective co-parenting.

Three key elements to developing an effective collaborative parenting relationship include:
  • A recognition and respect for the ongoing nature of your parenting relationship
  • A shared long-term goal / family vision
  • A shared belief that each of you loves your child(ren) and want what's best for them, even if you don't agree on what that looks like.

Often a history of conflict and ineffective communication get in the way of working as co-parents.  By shifting the way you think about parenting together, I can help you learn to become parenting partners who support each other in raising healthy, well-adjusted kids.

The process takes time, and I recommend a 3-month or a 6-month program which includes a 75 minute intake session followed up by 50-60 minute sessions twice a month.  We also can work on a session by session basis.

Rates and options are as follows:
75 Minute intake:  $250
      + 3 month package (2 sessions per month/ 6 total session) $1000
OR
      + 6 month package (2 sessions per month/ 12 total sessions) $2000
OR
       Single session rate $175/ session
